Growth forecasts

David Bell , Professor of Economics at Stirling University, questions whether independence will cause a rise in productivity. Scotland currently has the highest employment rate of the four UK nations. Increasing this further will not bring into the labour market Scots whose average productivity is up to the average for the workforce as a whole[1]
